This year, I improved on connecting my thesis and topic sentences and embedding my evidence in my text. By doing this I became a better writer. To do this, I worked hard, revised and edited my work, and turned in my work on time. One of the things I learned this year was that the easiest and most effective way to earn points was to complete and turn in my work on time. I learned many valuable things this year that I plan to carry with me all throughout the rest of my school days and life.
Next year, I'd like to improve even more on connecting my topic sentences to my thesis. In addition, I'd like to become more disciplined and patient such that I could find more grammatical and punctuation errors in my writing, as I find myself staring into the distance when I am looking for errors. Also, I could always improve on my analysis of evidence in my paragraphs. I find that, in my analysis, I have trouble connecting my evidence to my topic sentence in a way that doesn't sound cliche or highly overused.
